Arid region with warm weather, well-defined winters and high solar irradiation. A marked thermal amplitude, warm days and cold nights. With an average, during the ripening period of the grapes, higher than 20ºC. Low annual rainfall, less than 300 mm.

Soil

Alluvial origin, silty loam of medium depth, seated on a gravel mantle.

Hidric Resource

Only groundwater is available. It has three perforations located in the upper part of the property, with a depth close to 200m, static levels that fluctuate around 150m and an average flow of 180,000 liters per hour.

Irrigation System

Drip Irrigation System

Principle used in 100% of the plantations. It is designed with irrigation lines every 2.5m and drippers spaced every 0.7m, with a nominal flow rate of 2 liters / hour. The system as a whole is designed to replace a daily sheet of 6mm. By dosing water, this method allows to obtain balanced plants with good control of vegetative expression.
