When Don Juan Muñoz López arrived in these lands to produce his own wine, he was amazed by the number of partridges that were walking around. Always in groups of three. As the days went by, they became likeable companions of their long working days. It was then that he decided to name his winery "Viña Las Perdices".

70% Malbec / 11% Syrah / 10% Bonarda / 9% Merlot

Deep red color, with violet hues. Intense aromas of red fruits, with hints of pepper, spices, violet and dried plum, combined with tobacco, chocolate and vanilla scents. Good attack, smooth, roundon palate. Well balanced structure with ripe tannins, where the fruit is combined with the oak aging bouquet in an endless explosion of flavour, typical of wines of great lineage. Excellent companion of big game dishes, braised meats and stews such as carbonada.
Cold pre-fermentation maceration at 6-8 °C for one week. Addition of selected yeasts. Alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature between 26-28 °C for 10 days. Total fermentation-maceration time: 28/30 days, with two or three daily pumping over and délestages at the beginning.
